Award Winning Beers

Brewing a variety of different styles

For over ten years, The Sheffield Brewery Company has operated in the historic Albyn Complex, well-known for producing the world famous Blanco Polish in its time.  Nowadays, the original, rustic Victorian red-brick factory houses one of the UK’s only traditional, gravity-fed tower brewing systems, and is home to our charming Brewery Tap Room.

Since launching in 2006, we have gone from strength to strength, producing a range of award winning real ales, including our flagship beer, Seven Hills and the ‘darkly delicious’ Sheffield Porter.

In addition to our core range, we produce a variety of Finely Polished Beers, named and inspired by the original polishes as made by Jospeh Pickering & Sons, here in the very building where the brewery now resides.  Styles include American IPAs, New Zeland Pales, Baltic Porters, and many more, soon to be bottled in 330ml and available on cask/keg down your local.

FINEST INGREDIENTS

FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.

We are dedicated to producing the highest quality beer.  That’s why we use malt from world class maltsters, both in the United Kingdom and across Europe; a variety of hop breeds spanning the globe; and various yeast strains, all imparting their own unique flavour – all coming together in fresh, local Yorkshire water, from the surrounding countryside.

DRINK AT THE BREWERY TAP

BEER FRESH FROM THE SOURCE.

Within the red-bricked walls of The Sheffield Brewery Company is our very own tap room, open to the public on the first Friday and Saturday of every month to coincide with Peddler Night Market, and for brewery events and tours.  With a reclaimed bar from Sheffield University’s Ranmoor Halls of Residence, experience our finely polished beers in the very room in which they were created.

And just down the road from The Sheffield Brewery Company is The Gardener’s Rest, a quirky freehouse, which also serves a wide selection of our beers and ales from across the nation.
