Wig and Pen, Sheffield city
The team at The Sheffield Brewery Company are featuring their customer's pubs to help promote the venue and by way of recognition of their dedication to our beer.As pictured, the brewery's new cellar service department set-up three new hand pull lines for the Wig and Pen and three of the brewery's finest cask ales are regularly available. Fran is kindly pulling a Paradise Pale which is a lovely refreshing ale brewed especially for the pub. The special pump clip was also designed by local manufacturers, Chimo Holdings Limited, www.chimoholdings.co.uk to reflect Sheffield's heritage with steel as a special feature for the Wig and Pen. The Wig and Pen also has a fantastic food range offering great bar food and a la carte restaurant menus. Every month there are different events which are great for making business contacts. Princess Royal, Crookes, Sheffield
Jane, pictured and landlady at the Princess Royal in Crookes, has been ordering Five Rivers through the SIBA direct delivery scheme and as a consequence there has been a significant increase in her bar sales.Jane says: "I get great service from The Sheffield Brewery Co. These are great tasting ales which my customers really enjoy and I'll definitely be ordering more." |

York, Broomhill, Sheffield
Quiz Mistress at the York The Sheffield Brewery team were delighted to be invited to The York in Broomhill for another successful "Meet the Brewer" event on Wednesday 3rd Feb. The snow was still falling but it didn't put off a keen following of the brewery's friends and locals. Dawn who manages the pub said the evening had been a great success and the quiz was a particularly inspired feature on the night. We had two winners who walked away with a Sheffield Brewery T-shirt and a gallon of beer donated by the Wig and Pan manager, Andy, one of the brewery's core customers.It was a great night and you can see a few more piccies on our News page. |
